Born from our love of horses

At Squamish River Ranch, our goals are to offer new life to neglected, unappreciated, or commercialized horses, that were no longer appreciated for the incredible animals that they are. As well as to share the beauty and magic of the pristine river valley we are lucky to call home. In July of 2024, Rory and Stacey purchased SRR so their beautiful band of rescue horses would always have a safe place to call home.

We are incredibly proud that the majority of our herd are rescue horses. Our pasture offers over 50 acres of freedom and borders some of the most beautiful terrain in the Southern Coast Mountains. Surrounded by towering peaks, old-growth rainforests, and pristine, glacial-fed rivers, we are grateful to not only provide a healthy home for our herd but a place where each of them is loved.

Stacey

Stacey’s passion for horses was shared through her mom and aunt’s at a very young age. She has always loved sharing her appreciation for horses and has been guiding tours in the Sea to Sky for over 15 years. Stacey has settled with her dream herd in the beautiful Squamish Valley, which she has called home for the past 9 years.

The Dogs

Frankie & the Bandit are an integral part of our ranch. Everyone who comes for a visit is greeted by these two! They are our trusty leaders on trail and constant entertainment for our guests. In a world of good dogs, these two are the best.

Squamish River Ranch is committed to doing our part in preserving the beauty of the Squamish Valley in all of our operations and minimizing our impact on the land and wildlife.
